Carcosa Dreams

Dreaming of the new abnormal

We want to get back to running events. It’s been a year and a half since the last thing we ran – The Sisyphus, back in January 2020 – and while the current state of the ability to actually do that remains in flux, we have to continue planning things.

We’ve got some big plans for our settings coming up, and we’d like to update you on where we are, so this week we’ll be posting here some big updates. One a day, same bat-time, same bat-channel.

Also, we’re launching a new way to keep in contact. You can sign up to our email list, and we’ll let you know when new events happen. No spam, no trick wishes, no mimics (as far as we are aware).

Unless something explos

Monday: Dreaming of the duopoly of camel

We still plan to run Dead Air, the game of White Label Squabbling Wizards that at least one of us swore never to run again. Never Again doesn’t seem to last as long as it once did, and Monday will bring some details and maybe even dates.

Tuesday: Dreaming of eschatologistics

Forsaken, our game of biblical apocalypse and society, is our most popular and best established event, and we’re going to talk about the next events and the future.

Wednesday: Dreaming of shattered neon

Tenament 67, which brings the dystopian cyberpunk of our future into the present, has some updates to share.

Thursday: Dreaming of an untold story

Alba has had something of a rough launch, but we see a great future in its mist-covered past. We’ve got some major updates to share in our system of stories and villages, and what’s next for them.

Friday: Dreaming of the single sudden shot

Our stable of prestige repeating games – Tabula Rasa, Mythos Inc, The Sisyphus et. al. – have some new dates and plans to share also.

So that’s the plan. Comments will be open on these, and we’ll aim to answer any queries you have – either in a comment or a later AMA video. Also our contact address – contact@carcosadreams.com – is open for all your querying needs.
